She Rose
A magdalene pilgrimage in the South of France
Aug 31 - Sep 7
In The Footsteps of Mary Magdalene
We invite you to walk these lands with us, as a path to remembering the feminine love and wisdom made visible by Mary Magdalene.
According to legend, Mary fled to France after the death and resurrection of her beloved Yeshua and was given sanctuary by the Druid people who inhabited the forests of Sainte Baume Mountain in Provence. Here she lived, prayed and taught for the last thirty years of her earthly life. Her luminous essence still remains among the trees, the waters, and the earth - awaiting to be felt by those who walk and listen.
To listen is to heed the call of remembering—an initiation into the living mysteries of Mary Magdalene, Christ Consciousness, and the Temple of the Rose. To pilgrimage is to walk with devotion, the Way of the Heart. Through our pilgrimage we will journey to sacred sites and water temples, activating the remembrance of the Lemurian water codes and receiving blessings from the land of the Rose.
Mary Magdalene walked the Earth as a living transmission:
a priestess of beauty,
a guardian of sacred waters,
a keeper of the Divine Feminine.
She is calling us home.

Almieres Retreat
Aug 31 - Sep 4
We’ll begin our journey at Almières Retreat - a name that translates to Light of the Soul. From the moment you arrive, you feel as if you are taking a breath for the first time. The land calls you to remember something deep within. Nestled atop a mountain on the edge of a canyon in southern France, the retreat overlooks stunning views of a gorge and the sacred waters of the Tarn River. Powerful ley lines weave through the land, connecting Almières to the holy sites of Mary Magdalene.
Almieres is a lovingly restored ancient sheep farm—a private hamlet where nature meets luxury. Every detail has been mindfully curated by our hosts Marise and Monia, creating a sanctuary that feels both otherworldly and comforting like home. What makes this retreat extra special is that a digital detox is highly encouraged while staying here, with specified areas for phones or computers so you can fully tap into the energy of the land.
Each room has a unique character and all the spaces are carefully designed to have no electrical wires crossing. Some of the walls are 1 meter thick - offering you the deepest sleep you can imagine. All of the water on this property comes from an ancient spring and then is restructured so it is alive. This includes the water in the bathrooms - where each room offers a deep soaking tub to invite rest, ritual, and reverence.
Through daily yoga, embodiment practices, sound healing, Nordic baths, sauna, and nourishing cuisine prepared by a naturopathic chef, you will be held in beauty as you prepare for a sacred pilgrimage to Mary Magdalene’s Cave.
Almieres to Sainte Enimie
Sep 4th
After 4 nights at Almieres, preparing our bodies & hearts for the Rose path, we will drive to our second accommodation in Marseilles, Chateau Beaupin. Before our descent towards the coast, we will visit a small village north of Almieres that is known as one of the most beautiful places in France, Sainte Enimie. Sainte Enimie is known for it’s healing waters where a sacred spring was discovered by Princess Enimie, who traveled here to find a cure for her lepresy. The spring water healed her disease where she then founded a convent in the 7th century. When we come to Sainte Enimie we’ll visit a small church built into the mountain where the healing waters run through the walls that surround it. After our visit and a lunch in town, we’ll continue our journey to Marseille. We’ll have dinner at Le Pavillion Sedille hotel restaurant before retiring for the evening in preparation for the Caves on the following day.
Pilgrimage To Mary Magdalene’s Cave
Upon waking the morning of September 5th, we’ll meet for an early breakfast at Chateau Beaupin and then travel for 1 hour to the base of Sainte Baume on the edge of the Druid Forest. Here we’ll begin our ascent to the cave and our time on the mountain.
After our time here, we’ll have lunch at Michelin Star restaurant La Magdaleine and journey back to Chateau Beaupin. You’ll have dinner on your own as you integrate from your experience. Our closing circle will be held on September 6th with a ritual with the Mediterranean Sea followed by a closing dinner at Cheatau Beaupin.
Sep 5
Sainte Enimie to Chateau Beaupin
We’ll arrive the night of September 4th to our charming Chataeau Beaupin in Marseilles on the edge of the Calanques National Park and Mediterranean Sea. We’ll dine together and settle in for the night with preparation for our pilgrimage to the cave the following morning.
Set within a remarkable 19th-century residence and tucked away in a quiet residential Marseille neighborhood, you’ll remain in the gentle cocoon that Almieres provided, but with a slow emergence to the energy of the French Riviera and the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Chateau borders the Calanques National Park where we’ll spend our last day of the retreat by the sea. Each of the rooms reflect a Parisian private mansion and the understated simplicity of a Provençal manor where every detail invites you to reconnect with simple pleasures. You’ll have access to the spa amenities, lush garden and swimming pool that evoke a French art de vivre.
